Hayes Jones was not to happy about coming into Detroit to light the Torch only to find picketers of all sorts.  I've added the article about this to my faebook profile that reads, "Should Negroes boycott the Olympics.  But as you can see in the photos my father took, there were many other issues at hand at the time too. "Is Detroit Segregated Housing ready for the Olympics.  You see, they were considering having the Olympics in Detroit as one of their choices and Detroiters were not all to thrilled about it.
