Boblo Boat & Bob-lo Island Photos bring us all back to those sunny summer days when a one hour cruise along the Detroit River in a big steam ship was the beginning of a real life fantasy that could take you as far as a child's imagination could go. I remember the breeze blowing thru my hair, the smell of popcorn & cotton candy, running up & down the stairs to the dance floor or to the top of the ship where you were usually the only ones up there besides the Captain who sat behind the wheel. We'd look up as we went under the Ambassador Bridge, we'd wave at the boats passing by until we'd pull up to the foot of Woodward boat dock.
