Sh' Boom & Show Cars Photos
These are some of the most unique, one of a kind Show Cars that I've had the privilege to photograph. These were at a private, invite only party by an incredible man who is friends with Gene Winfield and has purchased some of his creations and the two are working on another. I was introduced while photographing a Roam'n Chariots Car Show Some of the people that were at Bobs were Chuck Miller (famous for the Red Baron & others that have become model cars), Ernie MacEwen (helped create the Boss 427 & the Thunderbolt) & Don Morton (used to work for Hurst & drive Linda Vaughn, Miss Hurst around during the Nationals & also won the Longevity Award at the 2010 Autorama with a T-Bird shown here). I just wanted to share with my fellow smuggers that have an interest in Car Shows so enjoy them. And one more thing. My website is dedicated to my father, Joe Stevens, work as a Professional Sports Photographer for 50 years, so all of my gallery photos are 40-50 years old. I took these photos and not with the Hasselblad but with a little Kodak digital 10x but they're not for sale, just for fun and just to share with you I still haven't gotten the film shots that I took on this day with my Dad's old Nikon 90. But now I will. I'm trying out the communities here on smugmug and still aquainting myself with all of the features. I looked through some of your communities photos and they were very nice. I especially liked the Concour d' Elegance. I was going to go last summer in Michigan north of Detroit and wish I would've because they've changed locations after many years. But I enjoyed looking at all of them. Have you noticed I talk too much?
